Looking into a new idea for my colour project

Daisy Jackson / 27/02/2023

After today's session I reflected on the ideas I already came up with and thought of a new idea.

I want to look into a 'Where's Wally' themed book but focusing on a Gray Tree frog called Moe. This book will educate the child on different facts about the colour green where you have to find that particular shade of green which will match the shade of green Moe is. I am doing this because the Gray Tree frog changed caolour depending on what time of day it is. Despite the name including 'gray', it can still be green which is perfect for what I am doing.

Each panel would be a differnet environment or a different part of the Gray Tree frog's natural habitat and include Moe - each being a different shade of green.

Rather than it being calle '50 shades of Moe' I would name it 'Different shades of Moe' or something along the lines of that. This way it is more child friendly and can be readable for ages 5 and up. Even adults can enjoy it.

I also looked into the predators of the Gray Tree frog and would include them throughout the book too.

This way, it is educating the child on nature, the Gray Tree frog, the predators and also the colour green.

Here are my different ideas for Moe:

My favourite design is definitely #1 as this one is more fitting with my style and what I want to deliver.
